Rules:

The regatta will be governed by the 2001-2004 Racing Rules of Sailing, the prescriptions of

U. S. Sailing, the rules of the International Lightning Class, and the sailing instructions.

Schedule:

May 30 7-11pm Pre-regatta Social at Jim & Connie Harris’ house

May 31 9-10:30am Registration at CYC main room

11am Competitors meeting

12:30 Warning signal race 1, race 2 & 3 to follow

6:00pm Social at CYC upstairs bar – beer & wine for sale; BYOL

7:30pm Dinner at CYC dining room

June 1 10:00am Warning signal race 4, race 5 to follow (no start after 1:30 pm)

Awards as soon as possible after race 5

$70.00 includes registration fees (club/SELD) & three dinner tickets

Additional dinner tickets: $8.00 adults, $3.00 children

Directions:

To CYC:

US Hwy. 74-76 to Wrightsville Beach, after the drawbridge take the right fork. The Banks Channel Bridge is about 1 mile further, cross the bridge and turn right at the stop light onto Waynick Blvd. The CYC is at the water tower about 1 mile ahead. Boats are kept on the right side of the street, car parking and club house is on the left.

US Hwy. 74-76 (Oleander Road) to Greenville Loop Road. There will be an Exxon station at the intersection. Turn left onto Greenville Loop & go about ½ mile. Look for white pillars & turn left onto Turtle Hall Road (sign is on opposite side of the street). Bear right onto Hawksbill Drive & follow around to the left. Turn right onto Marsh Bay Drive. 5^th house on the left (5617) is the Harris’ house. 910-793-0298
