11:30 AM - Skipper's Meeting

 

1:00 PM - Racing Starts

9:30 AM - Racing resumes - Awards to follow

7:00 PM - Dinner at WSC

Bring your own meat to grill.

No race will be started after 1:00 PM Sunday. Three races on Saturday and two on Sunday scheduled. No throw-outs. Awards to 3rd place

MEALS

On Saturday night you are welcome to join the Waccamaw club members for dinner. Bring your meat to grill. Baked potatoes and other sides of the meal furnished for a nominal fee.

Sunday AM -  Coffee, juice, bagels and toppings at 8:00am furnished.

Regatta fee is $35.00 ($6 to district). $40.00 if not a US Sailing member.

ACCOMMODATIONS

There is ample camping available on the WSC grounds, with restroom and shower facilities available.  Additional camping/parking is available around the corner at the WSC boat storage site.  Motels in Whiteville (12mi)

DIRECTIONS TO WACCAMAW SAILING CLUB

From I95 take US 74 East, 52 mi., to the “Boys and Girls Home” and turn right, go to the bottom of the hill at the lake and bear right, follow the lake 3 miles and the club will be on the left just before a sharp right turn in the road.

From the East take 74/76 about 35 miles from Wilmington and turn left at the “Boys and Girls Home” sign and follow as above.
