Ron and John's Summer Sailing Safari
June 21-29, 2003

The idea for a "sailing safari" was created by two unrelated quirks of fate.  The 2003 Southeastern Lightning District Championships are scheduled for June 21-22 in Raleigh and our friends Jason Bell and Christianne Cormier are getting married at Solomon's Island on June 29.  A little research on the Internet revealed that weeknight summer sailing was available in the D.C. area.  With a little help from our fellow Lightning sailors, a schedule was born that will find us sailing five out nine days from June 21- 28.  We decided to chronicle our trip on the Internet so our friends and loved ones will know we are alive from day to day!   Click on the links below to follow our exploits.
